Christmas Trees

Christmas trees are now in stock at our garden centre.  We have traditional Norway Spruce, which look good and smell fabulous, but will require you to vacuum regularly!  We also stock Nordmann trees, which are classed as 'low needle drop', meaning they will drop very few needles, even when they have been inside for the whole Christmas period.

We recommend the following tips to keep your tree in tip top condition -

If possible, cut an inch (2.5cm) off the trunk when you first get it home and leave the tree in a bucket of water until you are ready to bring indoors.

Don't bring in just yet!!  Keep you tree outdoors until 2 weeks before Christmas and it will stay fresher.

When you bring indoors, use a bucket filled with stones and water, or ideally a stand that will hold the tree in place and also has room for water.  Keep watered.

Do NOT put the tree next to a radiator or fire - it is guaranteed to dry out if you do this!

Enjoy your real tree.  Our team at the Garden Factory wish you all a Merry Christmas.
