PLEASE NOTE: This is a cast iron product and by the forces of nature may have suffered from the effects of oxidisation on the surface. This effect is quite natural and creates an even more characterful (aged, shabby chic) ornament.

Should you wish to remove the rust, brush off with a wire brush and either paint with anti-oxidising paint which is available at most paint stores or rub in oil.
