What is Airboard?

Airboard is an amazingly strong  inflatable rubber bodyboard- lilo-sled-surfer with handles on the sides and plastic runners on its base. It squeezes into a rucksack when deflated, and can go like the clappers when blown up and aimed downhill.

Developed in Switzerland 10 years ago it's entirely re-cylable and it has the ability to hit speeds of up to 80mph. Airboards can operate in all types of snow. Yep, that includes powder and moguls. You can hit BIG air with butter soft landings, or simply cruise. It won't wreck your knees and non skiiers can do it, so all the family can get involved.

No way! Is it safe?

As with most winter sports, it's as safe as the driver who drives it. Airboards take little to no time to work out and steering and stopping are the simple matter of adjusting body position so the plastic 'runners' dig in and make the turn ... No way Hose! Airboards are made using reinforced I-Beam technology and super-durable urethane coated nylon material which basically means it's incredibly strong. Each Airboard is dynamically modelled with firm plastic runners so you can zoom down the slopes knowing you are supported on a firm base. All Classic 130 models come with Bag, repair kit, hand pump, hand leash and it weigh only 2.5kg.
