The easy way to grow heavy crops of delicious mouth (and eye) watering onions.

Onion sets are immature Onion bulbs. When planted in Spring, they grow again to become full sized onions by late summer. Untroubled by pests or disease, they will thrive in ordinary conditions. Store in a cool and light place until planting out time. Then plant out in a well drained sunny position in moderate soil. Plant the bulbs at intervals of approx 10cm (4" ) in rows 30cm apart so that only the tips of the bulbs show above the surface of the soil.
